Work as Done: Designing Human Centred Management Systems

Work as Done: Designing Human Centred Management Systems

Design systems for the way work is done, not the way work is imagined

Learn how to create systems that are built for the needs of the people not for the needs of the system, understand the needs of your people and build the system for them as opposed to training your people in how to use a system built for the organization.

Work as Done: Designing a Human Centred Management Systems will equip you with the tools to build systems that are modular, scalable that never need to be re-explained - systems that enable learning and improvement.

Develop a clear view of what good looks like, figure out what people need where work is done and work back from that point instead of asking; What does the system need, what does the governance need, what does compliance need?

work as done, not work as imagined

If the people who rely on the system aren’t 100% sure what to do in a given situation and can't find the information quickly and easily, they'll make a decision without the information.

Work as Done is about designing management systems that enable people to make informed decisions.

This course is about learning from normal work and understanding what people need to successfully do their job, bringing systems to a user friendly place and removing bureaucratic accessibility barriers - having the right information at everyone's fingertips.

This highly interactive and participative programme blends individual self-paced learning and reflection with engaging live online group sessions. Each participant will be given access to our interactive platform featuring videos, podcasts, articles and more, to optimise your learning journey.
