resilimap® learning teams program
Resilimap® Learning Team shifts your organisation from blame to learning and improvement.
what are learning teams?
Learning teams are designed to enable human performance and operational resilience. To enable human and operational performance, organisations need to shift from constraining people to 'enabling people. We need to recognise that in the course of normal work, there are changing conditions, for which we need to build adaptive capacity to enable work to go right. Learning teams are a proven method to build human performance adaptive capacity.
During investigations conducted by most organizations, pre-conceptions and hindsight bias limit the ability to learn.
Generally speaking, the purpose of an investigation is to find error and determine who is responsible, which is often followed by retributive corrective action.
With Resilimap® Learning Teams (RLTs), curiosity is raised to support discovery, analysis, and improvement.
Findings like these result in more constraints, procedures, and operational burdens, but do not solve the problem at hand. Current investigations lack sufficient curiosity about work.
The end result is findings that only produce more constraints, procedures, and operational burdens, but do not solve the problem at hand.

capabilities. what will you learn?
The Resilimap® method can be applied to a wide range of work scenarios, tailored to meet different needs and outcomes.
As Resilimap analyses each scenario, it uncovers the organization's conditions, its constraints, demand and performance expectations, as well as the individual's control and capability. Capacity, variability, performance capability and inherent vulnerabilities are assessed in the output. As a result, insight and innovation lead to engagement and operational resilience.
We know it's possible to identify and leverage capacity, variability, conditions, and constraints without pointing fingers or enforcing compliance to heighten performance and build operational resilience.
We're challenging the norm - changing the response from investigation to learning.

“The Art of Work Learning Teams training has been amazing for me personally. I have been interested in understanding more about the concepts and techniques that others in the industry have been trialling, however I found it difficult to interpret the academic literature into practice. Art of Work has changed all that. They say one should do what gives you energy, I haven’t been this energised in years. Thanks to Kelvin and Marc”

AIHS Partnership
In partnership with the Australian Institute of Health & Safety, we developed this program to enable safety professionals to gain safety differently human performance expertise, that helps them to transform investigations into learning events.
Our partnership with the Australian Institute of Health & Safety enables safety professionals to acquire safety differently human performance expertise, allowing them to shift from investigation to learning.
Interested parties now have a unique opportunity to undertake the facilitator program and become a certified explorer by Art of Work and AIHS
learn with us.
We offer the Resilimap® Learning Team course as an 8-week learning journey, that takes you through the different stages of learning. Start with us on week 1 as an entry level investigator and emerge after week 8, as a confident, accomplished pathfinder, trained to facilitate and deliver successful RLTs.
learning is a continuous journey - AoW certification.
Following the RLT session, course graduates will be invited to complete a draft RLT report, which will then be reviewed and assessed by an Art of Work Resilimap® Learning Team practitioner. Nominated participants who successfully demonstrate the required capabilities, will then be certified as Resilimap® Learning Team - Guide and Pathfinder Level facilitators.
Facilitators who successfully complete the respective stages of the training will receive certification from Art of Work and the Australian Institute of Health and Safety (AIHS). Certified participants will be listed on the Art of Work public domain lists.
